In 1992, Mona Hatoum published remarkable artwork. Rachel Whiteread became a well-recognized digital artist in 1993. With the beginning of the year 2000, animated movies became a top trend. Craig Mullins and Jon Foster are two artists who play a pivotal role in illustrating storyboards for films. 

Sarah Ludey is one of the most famous digital artists of the 21st century. She uses pixels to create her magic. Her work mostly consists of animated gifs.
